Falmouth Week

Falmouth Week 2025 continues a proud maritime tradition dating back to 1837, having evolved from a local sailing regatta into one of the South West's premier sailing competitions and community celebrations. The week-long festival combines serious yacht and dayboat racing across seven days in Falmouth Bay and the Carrick Roads with an incredible array of shoreside activities for everyone to enjoy.

Falmouth Week Red Arrows Spectator Boat

On Wednesday, August 13th the Red Arrows will perform their spectacular aerial display over Falmouth Bay, traditionally drawing thousands to the seafront. Falmouth Art Gallery 

Falmouth Art Gallery is celebrating their current exhibition 'Where are we?' with free family workshops running throughout Falmouth Week from 11-15 August on The Moor. Led by local artists Sam, Eve, and Dulcie, the daily sessions run from 10am-12pm and 12.30-3pm, offering hands-on creative fun for all ages. Each day features a different activity: designing whimsical tickling machines inspired by Carlos Zapata's sculptures, creating wearable pixel art badges, making colorful streamer whirly toys, experimenting with Lego print art using blocks and paint, and crafting kaleidoscopes to end the week. These engaging workshops provide the perfect opportunity for families to get creative together while exploring art and design in the heart of Falmouth during the town's vibrant festival week

Miracle Theatre Outdoor Shows 

Experience professional theatre under the stars with Miracle Theatre's touring outdoor production of Twelfth Night. National Maritime Museum Cornwall 

The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is offering an exciting summer of free family activities with museum admission. The highlight is Wipeout, a spectacular daily aerial dance and theatre show inspired by the museum's SURF! exhibition, created by Cornwall performance companies Cscape and Off the Wall. Running three times daily at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, this all-ages show combines physical theatre with aerial choreography celebrating vintage surf culture. Families can also explore marine conservation through interactive activities with Surfers Against Sewage's Ocean School. With an annual pass, visitors can enjoy unlimited return visits throughout the year, making it excellent value for families looking for engaging summer entertainment that combines culture, performance, and marine education.

National Trust Trelissick: Summer of Play
